Anyone who know me personally know I am a huge Tupac Shakur fan. I was introduced to Tupac’s music when I moved from Turks and Caicos to American in 1994. Tupac is and forever will be my favorite artist.
If you’re a Tupac fan you know he was angry and pointed a lot of fingers at different people following his 1994 shooting in New York City’s Quad Studios. Shakur penned a track titled “Against All Odds”, where he name-drops several of his adversaries including Nas, Mobb Deep, Jimmy Henchman, and Haitian Jack, real name Jacques Agnant.
21 years after the fatal shooting in New York, Haitian Jack decided to speak about the shooting and insinuated Jimmy Henchman’s involvement.
Haitian American artist Wyclef Jean is back in the news, but he’s not just talking about his music.
In this recent article with The Daily Beast, Jean opened up about his romantic relationship with former band mate Lauryn Hill, his AIDS charity track, his controversial charity organization, his feelings about Jersey Governor Chris Christie and a possible Fugees reunion.
Here is a few excerpt from the interview.
Do you see a Fugees reunion happening anytime soon?
I mean… I think possibilities are always endless. For me, it just always has to be bigger than the music. And that band wasn’t just about the music; it was about the movement.

Negative press seem to be following Wyclef everywhere lately. According to TMZ, The Haitian American artist “April “Showers” video had to be taken down from YouTube due to an autopsy picture of rapper Tupac Shakur.
According to TMZ
The ghost of Tupac Shakur is haunting Wyclef Jean … whose music video just got yanked from YouTube because someone thinks it features a grisly pic of ‘Pac’s autopsy — but TMZ has learned it’s just an impersonator with great makeup.
The scene in Wyclef’s “April Showers” video looks eerily similar to an infamous photo of Tupac’s corpse — partially cut open during his autopsy — and published in Cathy Scott’s book, “The Killing of Tupac Shakur.”
Scott tells us she’s convinced the image in the video is the real deal — she’s the one who complained to YouTube — but Tupac impersonator Richard Garcia tells TMZ he’s actually the stiff.
Garcia says he was hired to re-create the autopsy for the video’s anti-gun violence theme … and it required 8 hours with makeup artist Autumn McHugh — even though he only appears for a split second.
We told Scott about Garcia’s role — but she insists the image is TOO perfect, and must be the photo.
