Lunch: Pwason Fris/Fried Fish Recipe

2 lb Fish cleaned
3 cups water
2 limes
1/2 cup scallions
1 medium chopped onion
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp thyme
salt, black pepper, and hot pepper to taste
4 cups for flour

Happy Sunday! 

Take Fish and place in the big pot, put all the spices on the fish
Leave the fish out overnight in the fridge or possibly leave it for a minimum of 3 hours for all the spices to marinate well within the fish
Preheat Vegetable oil
Take the fish, dip it in a pan of flour until it’s all covered
Put the fish in the oil let it fry for 6-10 minutes depend on how crisp you want it
Take it out and serve it with whatever you want.
