Future spotted With DJ Khaled

According to the rumor mill, Haitian American rapper  Future has been secretly dating singer Ciara ever since she featured on one of his latest singles (read it here) . Although the rumors have not been confirmed by either party, Future recently caught up with Atlanta’s Posterchild J1 to chat about his rise to fame and the rumors surrounding he and Ciara. He revealed that they have amazing chemistry, and if they can get past all of the negativity and rumors that they are constantly hit with in the media. Watch the interview below.

She’s a beautiful woman, amazing, incredible, everything that comes with those words, that’s what she represents. I can tell you, all the negativity that comes with me and her is not true. Our personal lives is our personal lives. Sometimes people present it like it’s true and they think they have facts, but at the end of the day, we know what’s true and we know what’s not true and anything negative from that situation, we [are] not even representing that. What you see is what you get. We are at a time where, I am on Epic, she’s on Epic, I love music, she loves music. And we love being in the studio with each other. We love being around each other and that’s just what it is. The chemistry is there. It’s amazing. She makes me happy, I make her smile.

Anything negative around that is all false because every time you are doing something positive and somebody sees you happy, they want to find something to tear you down. She’s a great woman. I believe at the end of the day, once the media passes over and all of the foolishness goes past, we gon’ be able to be good. And we gon be good. It’s only comments, rumors and certain speculations. As long as we have that understanding, no one can ever come between us.

Since my first post where I said Future is Haitian American (read it here) , a lot of people have question whether or not he’s really Haitian, some have even gone as far s saying, the Haitian American community should not be so happy to claim him if he’s not claiming to be Haitian.  I personally have never felt that he was trying to keep it a secret, I think the just identifies himself as just another rapper and not necessarily a Haitian rapper.
Although I haven’t found any interviews where he goes into detailed about his Haitian decent, I recently found these pictures on Instagram where is wearing the Haitian flag on his head  with fans and in  Dj Khaled’s artist Ace Hood latest video shoot for “Bugatti”.
Update 11:55am : I wouldn’t be a real blogger If I didn’t report both sides of every story.
Thank you to one of my fellow Haitian American fan from Facebook, who pointed out this video below. To date this is the first time I’ve heard Future explain his Haitian decent and based on this interview below, when the reporter asked about Wikipedia listing him as a Haitian, he agree that the information is incorrect and go  on to say “My background is Haitian, but I’m not Haitian”. I don’t know what that mean but I’ll allow you to listen for yourself and form your own opinion.
